Position Summary:
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language and prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves. Inspect tools, equipment, or machines daily.

Responsibilities:
Maintain facility using consistent preventative maintenance guidelines; check and ensure repairs are made irrigation systems, tools and equipment
Maintain all areas around resort with consistent planting, trimming, mulching and plant replacements.
Maintain inventory of fuels and necessary supplies of the landscaping department.
Requirements:
Working knowledge of irrigations and landscaping equipment. Includes, but not limited to: Chain saws, leaf blowers, gas powered trimmers, hedgers etc.
Maintain chemicals inventory
Two to five years as a grounds or landscaper or similar position
Will have to work various shifts, holidays and weekends
Valid Driver's License Required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge In:
The methods, practices, tools, equipment, and materials used in a variety of landscaping and grounds care trades
Repairs and maintenance of irrigations controls.
Safety and security measures. Report or correct any hazardous conditions observed immediately
Skills:
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs as well as general maintenance on property grounds
Use and care of hand and power tools and equipment appropriate to the area assignment
Assist with guest issues, be professional and maintain a hospitable caring attitude
Maintain guest privacy
Abilities:
Diagnose malfunctions and defects in mechanical and similar equipment and to determine adequate corrective measures.

Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder.
Safety and Security
Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.
Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.
Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
Follow Hazardous Material Management Program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals, fertilizer, pesticides, blood borne pathogens, etc., including using Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Complete appropriate safety training and certifications to perform work tasks.
